Generous is indeed the very term that might probably demote what Morgan Chu and his beloved wife, Helen Chu, have really been doing to this great nation. Even with all of his personal achievements alone, Mr. Chu has been more than just prominent example of what one person could really contribute toward one whole nation. In addition to that, this same dedicated person, the very person who has been receiving many leading awards a nation could ever give, continues to set the best examples and standards of how one person could really make all the differences need to achieve better living conditions for the sake of society as a whole.

Some hints from the Asian American Personalities Morgan Chu interview do show that Mr. Chu is really eager enough to part with his own fortunes (and a couple of millions and more are indeed some really big fortunes to say the least!) so that many more members of the society could have that better hope for that better living conditions. Needless to say, this could have been the very reason why many awarding committees never find any trouble to appoint Mr. Chu (or would those committees really find no trouble to believe in, actually?) as the laureate. Doubtless also, some members of those committees would simply find themselves taking more breathes in greater reliefs as they have finally found that someone who really is the best man for the best honor.

But what really is the best capacity everyone could really learn from Mr. Chu is that he never stops at just being the best. Indeed, it will be quite easy to find people who are at best for themselves. They might have achieved something very great and or they might have done something equally best also. However, most of these great people are also mostly do their best things which could only affect themselves. And it is at this very point that everyone will find Mr. Chu has been greatly different. This nation has been lucky enough for having more of those best people who could do, at the least, best for themselves. But this nation is certainly blessed for having even one best person who could really do many best things for the best and greatest good of all the people. And though this nation may not be sure that there is another person, this nation is always sure that there really is that one person – Morgan Chu.

Bali And Lombok lie in one of the geologically most active regions on earth, part of the Pacific Rim’s great “ring of fire”. They are two in a chain of volcanic islands which stretches some 3,500 km (2,200 miles) from Sumatra to Flores, and which marks the point where the Australian tectonic plate is being forced beneath the Eurasian plate at a rate of 6 cm (2 inches) each year. The volcanoes of Bali and Lombok have influenced the way human societies on the islands have developed, and still play a very important role in the culture of the islands’ inhabitants.

The peak of Gunung Batur, seen here from the air, and nearby Lake Batur are set in a spectacular caldera, created about a million years ago, when the top of the mountain was explosively blown off by the pressure of accumulated magma.

Deep gorges and steep ridges run north and south from the higher peaks, making east-west travel difficult.

This is why traditional Balinese society developed along river valleys and on the coastal plains.

Lake Tamblingan lies in an ancient caldera. Volcanoes, such as Gunung Lesong, have grown within the caldera since its formation, hiding all traces of the southern rim.

VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS

Volcanic activity, including the deposition of magma, can cause changes in the landscape. These drawings show the rapid changes in the peaks of Gunung Batur during the major eruption of 1926. Today the volcano is still active and it enjoys small, regular eruptions.

The last one in 2000 created a small cone, which is visible from Kintamani. Other major eruptions in recent years include that of Gunung Rinjani in 1994 and that of Gunung Agung in 1963. The latter caused widespread devastation and hardship.

THE VOLCANIC LANDSCAPE

The line of volcanic peaks running along Bali and Lombok is the islands’ most conspicuous physical feature.

One mountain or another is visible from almost any location. The combination of volcanic soil and rainfall has created a richly fertile environment for agriculture.

Gunung Rinjani, at 3,726 m (12,224 ft), is Indonesia’s second-highest mountain. Within its caldera is the small but still active volcano Gunung Baru, and a beautiful crater lake, Danau Segara Anak.

The south coast of Nusa Penida was formed from ancient coral reefs raised above the surface of the sea, as a result of volcanic activity.

Fertile rice fields are irrigated by the streams flowing down Gunung Rinjani. The soil is rich in tephrites and silica.

The world has become so surrounded with people that you sometimes do not have time for yourself enough to hear yourself think…

Day in and day out interacting and working with people can be really stressful. In a time like this, it is best to take a moment and do away with everything and leave them behind. If staying at home doesn’t quite cut it for you, then going to a place with new sights and experience can be the perfect thing, and an Indonesia Bali travel experience might just be the thing that your soul is looking for.

The Temples Of Bali

Bali is one of the islands in the country of Indonesia. And because over 90% of the Hindu population reside here, many beautiful temples, shrines, and other wonderful structures are erected for everyone to see, giving the island another name as “the island with ten thousand temples.”

Going inside these temples and taking a look at these shrines will not just project a sense of wonder to anyone, but will also give a feeling of spirituality and calm, things that are sometimes just needed desperately by the soul and the mind. Embarking on an Indonesia Bali travel opportunity will provide you these experiences, and maybe even more.

The Island Of Bali

The island of Bali, along with the whole of Indonesia sits just below the equator, making it one of the islands that has a consistent weather with its constant sunshine and a occasional rain to cool everyone off. The weather is especially perfect for Bali because the island and the people have so much festivals within the year that almost every day is a perfect enough reason to celebrate something and be a little thankful for what you have.

A Spiritual Experience

Not only will an Indonesia Bali travel experience give you a spiritual experience and some breathtaking sights to see, it will also give you a chance to explore and help out at some causes, like the Bali Children’s Project, where you can help some less fortunate children and lift them out of their poverty and distress by supporting them through school-building, tutoring, or even with a small amount of money. Another group you can support is the Carbon Fund, where you can contribute whatever you have – be it time or money – to contribute to projects that involve renewable energy, reforestation, and energy efficiency.

What To Do In Bali

Aside from these spiritual and charitable events that can feed your soul, an Indonesia Bali travel experience will also give some gifts to your senses and will leave you with a feeling of appreciation for its beauty. In Bali, you will be able to see endless and bottomless seas that are clear, rolling hills, and peaks of volcanic mountains.

You can even explore the most popular forms of Balinese arts such as:

sculpture

painting

woodcarving

dancing

Even staying at the beach long enough to see a fabulous sunset will leave you breathless with wonder

If you think that the things said above are definitely for you and would want to visit Bali, one of the most important thing you have to remember to make your Indonesia Bali travel an experience so memorable is to take care of your insurance, just so you’ll be covered while you’re out to have some spiritual and aesthetic experiences.

Some people believe a break from work should involve more than just a holiday: it should be an adventure! Which is why adventure travel is becoming so popular. It doesn’t have to mean climbing Everest, attempting K2, or crossing a desert on the back of a camel: but it can, though it can just as easily mean a guided rafting trip in the Grand Canyon, seeing the desert from the basket of a balloon, a bungee jump like James Bond (off Switzerland’s Verzasca Dam) or a road trip somewhere literally *off the beaten track*.

Trekking in Nepal or paddling the Grand Canyon are the classic adventure travel options, and for most adventure travellers involve a bit of travel to get to, but there are travel adventure options in every country — you ‘d be surprised to see the list of where all the best paragliding destinations are, and paragliding definitely qualifies as adventure travel if it’s done right. Ice climbing, cave diving, shark diving, paddling between scenic islands, trekking overland, base jumping, or even heli-biking or heli-skiing can elevate your travels to adventure travels, and these kinds of adventure travel options can be found in some very unlikely destinations.

But the classic adventure options are still the best: New Zealand, for all the cycling and paddling options, as well as the extreme sports, is one of the best places for adventure travel, and Chile and Patagonia are popular for the same kinds of adventure travel attractions. Canada has the winter-y wilderness, and offers adventure travellers the chance to get back to nature and meet some exotic animals, while Borneo and the Galapagos, offer adventure travellers both untouched wilderness, unique animals and sunshine. Just in case you prefer your adventure travels without the adventurous weather.

Not all of us get the chance to have a real travel adventure. However, ‘adventure holidays’ are becoming ever more popular, and accessible, and not just among the young. As baby boomers mature they find they are fitter, and generally richer, than their parents were – so your 50s and 60s is a great time to take that travel adventure you never had time or money to do. Lots of adventure travel is within the realms of possibility for most people — you don’t have to be an elite athlete to cross the Sahara with a camel train, just relatively healthy and the owner of an adventurous spirit. Some adventure travel tour operators even run adventure tour options for younger explorers, and there are some gentle routes along even some of the most exciting of white water rivers, and child size mountains still worth conquering. And while once people thought of some adventure travel options as being the adventure of a life time, now a lifetime can have many travelling adventures.

There are many adventurous travelers, who despite of being disabled, became some of the well-known and prominent handicapped adventurous travelers.

Certain destinations for travel also offer various job opportunities and diverse programs for other unfortunate people. For example, Canada organizes rafting trips for those suffering from spinal damage.

Esprit Rafting is another sport that is becoming very popular among people with different kinds of ailments, and those who are not able to participate in normal adventure sports or tourism. In addition, there are other various adventurous traveling opportunities for people having interests in hunting and fishing.

Below listed are some sources, wherein you can find loads of information regarding adventure tourisms across the globe:

1. There are various programs dedicated to adventure tourism. They mainly focus on different locations and authentic food.
2. Various magazines focus on the importance of traveling in specific locations and their importance. They also give helpful information on various remote areas, which have recently become popular as travel destinations.
3. Several websites and blogs provide information on various types of adventurous tourisms.

There are various recreation programs organized by different outdoor organizations. Such kinds of recreation programs provide opportunities for people to make their adventure travel a memorable vacation.

Some of the adventure travelers also expose themselves to wildlife adventures, which involve a lot of risk. These kinds of adventure travelers need to make use of safety guidelines before venturing into such dangerous trips.

You often hear people talking about adventure travel and that makes you wonder as to what adventure travel actually is. It is something by which u can add adventure and fun to your life. So before going for an adventure travel, you must know what it is. Adventure travel doesn’t mean that you have to endanger your life for your trip to be called adventurous!

The term adventurous is a concept that is not defined physically when you talk about adventure travel. This concept is defined psychologically. Different people have different definitions of adventure. Earlier adventure travel meant going abroad or just traveling to different places. However, its definition has changed today. Adventure travel is when you experience an event rather than being a mere spectator in your travels. It is actually living in the present and experiencing the place and not just sight seeing.

Adventure is different for everyone. What may appear adventurous to you could be totally boring for someone. And that is reason that there are so many options available if you want to go for adventure travel. You can choose the one which suits you, and more importantly the one which excites you! White water rafting or kayaking can be fun for someone. On the other hand camping in an interesting place can de defined as adventurous by some people. Hot air balloon ride may sound boring to you but it can be the perfect adventure travel for some.

Adventure travel is when you get yourself involved in an enthralling experience. It includes boating, kayaking, hiking, sky diving, mountain climbing, scuba diving, sailing, bicycling and much more! You should not indulge yourself into any form of adventure travel in which you are not comfortable. The level of risk in your travel is defined by you just like term adventure is defined individually. Adventure travel is getting yourself engaged into a new experience but make sure that you are totally comfortable in what you are doing.

You can choose a tour if you wish to go for adventure travel. Such adventure travel tours are available for couples and families. But don’t worry in case you are single, adventure tours are also available for you. So you can make a plan for an adventure tour. You can choose a tour which suits you best. These tours usually have two groups of people. One group goes on sight seeing and visits their areas of interest, whereas the other group involves itself in adventurous activities. Of course the type of activity depends on the tour which you have selected.

It is a misconception that adventure travel is only for the younger people. You can indulge yourself into it irrespective of your age. Adventure travel is enjoyed by one and all. It’s not uncommon to see an old couple getting engaged in adventurous activities. Having worked hard throughout their life, they want o experience something new and enthralling. You can meet people from all quarters of life in adventure travel. Now, meeting different people from different backgrounds can itself be very adventurous!

You can choose an adventure travel which excites you. It can simply be going out of the country to some distant place or maybe engaging yourself in bunjee jumping. Whichever activity you choose, just make sure that you are comfortable in it, for there will be no fun and no adventure if you are not comfortable!

London’s Westfield shopping centre is the ideal location for shopping for almost any purchase you have in mind. Under one roof you can grab a bargain in a vast array of the popular high street stores, but most importantly, there is the opportunity to treat yourself in its high class shopping village. In The Village, you will find some of the most luxurious designer brands London has to offer, including: Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Jimmy Choo, Versace and Tiffany & Co. The list doesn’t shop there though, and there’s certainly a designer brand to suit any taste, style or trend. But best of all, there are many low cost London hotels that won’t break your budget (leaving money left over to spend on must have purchase).

Although, if you really wish to shop in style, the best place to find designer labels is in one of London’s world renowned department stores. Check out last minute cheap hotel deals to be close to shops of high repute. Harvey Nichols is located in London’s upmarket Knightsbridge; here you can really shop in style, as brands from both the traditional fashion houses and new, up-and-coming designers can be found all under one roof. This means you are spoilt for choice when it comes to sampling the best that London has to offer when it comes to exciting, home grown design or classical, high-class chic.

Like Harvey Nichols, Harrods is still emblematic of London’s dedication to providing its visitors with high-class, designer clothing. Also situated in Knightsbridge, this iconic department store allows its customers to shop in elegant surroundings, whilst providing choice when it comes to brands and products. You may choose to enter Harrods’ vast food hall for a sumptuous break after a long day shopping, but, if your purse strings won’t quite stretch that far, you always have the option of returning back to your London hotel. Given the wide selection of central London locations, you won’t ever have to carry your bags far when in need of a little relaxation.

If however, you love designer labels, but can’t quite justify paying high end prices, London has many second hand designer label stores. One of the most notable is Covent Garden’s The Loft. Here you can find a treasure trove of second hand, or sometimes even brand new designer clothing at a fraction of the original price. So, if you want designer luxury on a budget, check into one of London’s cheap hotels, so you can experience the shopping potential at truly affordable prices.

Road Trip Game #1 – Eagle Eyes

This is a game of spotting items out of the car window that are listed on the sheet and counting their occurrences. Each player would a use 1 side of the car to look for the agreed items. The one with the most occurrences within a certain time period or distance is the winner. All you need is a pen and paper for each player. Items such as cows, horses, farm silos, tractors, churches, cemeteries, farm dams and road signs are good starters.

Variations - to add extra spice each child could try and predict how many of each item they will see within a certain distance or time frame. The closest to their prediction wins.

Road Trip Game #2 – Connect the Boxes

Each child will need a pen and paper. One player will draw a grid of dots (say 30 dots wide by 10 rows so that the width between the dots and the rows is about equal). Each player, in turns, then connects 2 dots with a horizontal or vertical line. The aim is to be the player that closes the 4th side to complete a box. The winner is the player who closes the most boxes. (Hint: If you close in 3 sides you can be pretty sure your opponent will quickly complete the box and add his/her initial in the centre.)

Road Trip Game #3 – Car Make / Model Reversii

This will have the whole car in fits of laughter…guaranteed! If you see a Cadillac Eldorado (for instance) whiz past, the players try and quickly say the make and model spelt BACKWARDS. So for this example the kids will be trying to say “Callidac” (Cadillac spelt backwards) and the pronunciation would be something like Call-i-dac. Then for the model Odarodle (Eldorado spelt backwards) they would try to say O-dar-odle. Once people are trying to say these words quickly it suddenly turns into a real laugh… you’ll remember this game for years. (I don’t know of anyone else who has played this game apart from our family – so you could say it’s exclusive.)

Road Trip Game #4 – Licence Plate Spotter

On a piece of paper each player writes all the letters of the alphabet A- Z. Then the idea is to find the first digit on the number plate to match each letter on your list. The first to find all the letters is the winner. (You could slow things down a little, making the game last longer, by choosing a certain color number plate or a certain state etc)

Road Trip Game #5 – I Spy

This works well for younger kids especially. Take turns to look for something the other player(s) has to guess correctly. You begin your turn by saying “I spy with my little eye something beginning with a (letter)_____”. The other player tries to guess it from the surrounding items or countryside. The person who correctly guesses gets to have the next turn.

The Caribbean is one of the long-dreamed-of honeymoon destinations of many a couple. The gorgeous sunsets, white sandy beaches and picturesque palm trees make for the perfect romantic setting. But where to go when you want to avoid other newly married couples? Not St Thomas, Barbados and Jamaica – the tourism hot spots of the Caribbean islands. If you want to escape to a more natural and secluded spot, you should look into the following destinations for your honeymoon…

St John

Why it’s perfect

Part of the Virgin Islands but not nearly as developed as popular St Thomas, St John is more out of the way and untouched – the perfect place to get away. The Virgin Islands National Park takes up two-thirds of the island and affords ample space for couples looking for beauty and privacy. Consider heading here if Trunk Bay Beach is overrun with tourists.

Where to book

If you want to be spoilt and pampered, with access to plenty of amenities, book a spot at Caneel Bay. For more of a thrill, consider staying at a wooden and canvas ‘tent’ at Maho Bay Camps in pristine Maho Bay.

Culebra

Why it’s perfect

This Puerto Rican island is all about seclusion and beautiful white sand beaches that stretch for miles, like the one at Playa Flamenco. Here, it’s easy to find a private spot for two. Tired of lounging and lazing about? Consider a day trip to nearby Vieques and lush Mosquito Bay for a rush of excitement.

Where to book

Hacienda Tamarindo is the place to stay if you’re looking to get away from the world. This plantation-like inn offers gorgeous views, a refreshing pool and lots of tranquil spots by shady terraces.

Nevis

Why it’s perfect

Not as developed as other nearby islands, this laid-back island is both beautiful and secluded. Nevis honeymooners, whether they met through friends or through eHarmony, can simply soak up the scenery, lie on the beach, venture into the rainforest or out on to the water. While couples will find both friendly locals and historical landmarks here, this is not the island for shopping or nightlife.

Where to book

For a touch of the romantic and luxurious, stay at one of the island’s many restored plantations and manor houses, such as the Hermitage Plantation Inn.

Whether you met your new better half at work or through a dating website Leeds, Manchester and London newlyweds will love these exotic and secluded honeymoon getaways.
